Some happy Attendees

Just wanted to send a brief note to let you know how much I appreciated the opportunity to attend the L2L Leadership Conference at Calvary Community. As a mid-level manager for a busy contract manufacturing company my days are often filled with the constant demands and “firefighting” of our modern business environment. That is why it was important and refreshing for my colleagues and I to be able to step back and enjoy a day of leadership growth and training removed from the constant interruptions of our day to day roles.

I found the leadership information to be cutting edge and extremely pertinent to the challenges I face each day. The presentation was outstanding, varied and often filled with a touch of humor. In fact our team enjoyed it so much that many purchased materials for further study. I have never attended a seminar that was more professionally produced nor have encountered volunteers as friendly and helpful as those who served at L2L.

Thank you to you and your team for a wonderful day! I am looking forward to attending again in 2017.

You don’t necessarily need a title to be a leader, people lead teams at work, in the community and even within their family. A successful leader gets the most from the team he/ she is leading and also helps the team develop. Leading is an important role, successful leaders need to continually improve their skill, focusing on leading and how to help others grow. I’ve found the John C. Maxell simulcast is a great way to develop personally and improve professionally. In addition to his concepts he brings together top leaders from different industries to share experiences and leadership ideals.
